On the Island there is a Rural Surgery for all minor medical emergencies and a more advanced clinic on the mainland in Neopoli. Large hospitals can also be found in Molaous and in Sparta. Unfortunately the island does not have a drugstore, ATM, bank or a post office, but you are able to purchase stamps at the newsstand and post your letters from there as well. In Neapoli you will find all the services and shops that you might require while on holiday. In the village you will find an internet cafe, bakeries and super markets, as well as numerous souvenir and gift shops where you can purchase all the traditional wares of the region. The marine region in Paulopetri and Hamokelo is ideal for wind surfing and kite surfing. Elafonisos is also a paradise for the enthusiastic fisherman as these waters offer the entire marine life of the Aegean in abundance.
